How a cheap family holiday can still be amazing

With many families dying to get away after months of being in lockdown, campsites and hotels are filling up fast. Lots of people who had booked to go abroad have had their holidays cancelled or moved to next year which means these people may not have got a holiday booked. If they have not had their money refunded for the first holiday they booked, they may now struggle to book anything else. Holidays do not have to cost the earth to be great fun, there are a number of ways to make the most out of a low cost holiday.

You may think you need to fill your days with trips to the zoo, theme parks or activity centres but this can often cost a lot of money and take a big chunk out of your holiday budget. Children do not need to necessarily go to these types of places to have a good time. Try and look around you and see what you can do that costs little or no money, you may be surprised as to how many options you have. If there is a play area or swimming pool onsite, this will often keep the children entertained for a good few hours. Even just kicking a football around a field with mum or dad can be an exciting time for a child. Trips to the beach with a picnic are not only very cheap but allow children to run around and let off steam.
