Think carefully before going away this Christmas

Christmas is nearly upon us and many people have booked to go away this Christmas to give themselves chance to properly unwind and relax in their happy place. If you have booked to go abroad, you may be on tender hooks trying to figure out what restrictions may be in place and how this is going to affect your holiday. Even if you are staying in this country, there is a lot of uncertainty around rules and restrictions and as we all know too well, things can change literally overnight. If you are considering going away but have not booked anything yet then yu may wish to put it on hold. You need to consider that you may be required to isolate upon your return or even upon arrival at your destination. Having to isolate in your room for two days when you arrive somewhere may mean that you miss the festivities and that you only have a few days to enjoy. You also need to consider what would happen if you do then test positive for Covid whilst away and have to isolate for the entire time. Although a holiday may be just what you think you need at the moment, with so much uncertainty, it may end up being the holiday from hell instead.
