There are people who are more than happy to help you when travelling with children and with a bit of careful planning you can reach your destination safely and without too many new grey hairs! Most holiday destinations are set up to cater for families with children and you could even opt for a place that has a special tots week.
Ideally you need to pack plenty to do on the aeroplane, in the car or however it is you are travelling. When children get bored, they tend to play up a bit. Depending on the age of your children this could include travel games such as Connect Four or I Spy and videos for a tablet or handheld games console. Even pencils and colouring books can keep a child entertained for a while.
If you research beforehand, there are plenty of hotels and campsites that can offer activities for children too. Some have a babysitting service or a kids club that you can make use of if you want to have some time to yourself.
