When travelling to and from holiday destinations you can quickly add to the cost of your holiday if you have not thought carefully about your travel plans. You need to try and find the cheapest way to travel to and from your destination and other locations you may wish to visit when you are there.
Taking black cabs and using holiday companies transfers can very quickly add a lot of money on to what may of supposed to of been a budget holiday and even more so if you have three or more children as you may have to hire two taxi’s each way or a seven seater if you decide to use this method of transport.

Find out exactly what is included in the price of your holiday before you book and if they offer you airport transfer, try and find out how much it would be to book a taxi yourself. People assume that the holiday companies coach transfer will be the cheapest option but this is not always the case and by using a local taxi firm you will often get to your destination quicker too.
When making arrangements to get to the airport you may wish to see if you can get a lift to the airport from friends or family. You may need to pay someone’s fuel but you will not have to worry about parking charges.
