More and more people are choosing to venture outside of the EU

So we have no officially left the EU yet, but many of us are choosing to holiday outside of the EU this year. Recent facts have shown that there is a 10% increase on holidays booked outside of the EU for 2019 and this may be linked to the exchange rate of the Pound to Euro.
Over the last few months Britain has been in turmoil over the EU Brexit deal and still talks continue and there is a lot of uncertainty in the air. Most people have said that they still want to travel abroad and some EU countries such as Spain and Greece are the most popular choice, but overall ore of us are venturing a bit further afield.
If you are booking a holiday to an EU country then you do need to ensure that your passport has plenty of time left to run on it. If we leave the EU in June then there may be restrictions put in place by certain countries that state travellers must have a longer period left until expiry on their passports that previously.
Taking out insurance is vital when going on holiday abroad, but be sure to check all the terms and conditions to ensure you are covered regardless of the Brexit outcome.
