Holiday booking nightmares

Recently a holiday company called Low Cost Holidays has gone in to administration leaving thousands of customers either stranded on holiday or not knowing if their holiday that they have paid for has been booked or cancelled.

This can be an absolute nightmare for many customers and unfortunately a number of them will have lost out on the money they paid for the flights and accommodation. There are some ways in which to try and claim the money back and ways in which to ensure that you do not fall in to this trap again. If you book with a company that is ATOL protected, they will ensure that should you holiday be cancelled you will receive a full refund. When paying for any holiday ideally put it on a credit card or pay via Pay Pal. Paying via one of these methods usually means yo will be entitled to claim the money back as part of their promise to you as a customer.
