When you think of holiday destinations and places many people visit it’s probable fair to say that Greenland doesn’t come to the top of your mind. Not many people know about this arctic country and there is merely a population of 56,370, making it the least densely populated country in the world.
Nuuk is the capital city in Greenland but it looks a lot like a village or a town. The majority of people will speak either Danish while fewer people speak Greenlandic. Some may say that there is not a great deal to see or do in Greenland but that really doesn’t have to be the case. There are many expeditions to take such as ski-touring, mountaineering expeditions, treks and dogsled trips.

There are also a great deal of resorts, and you’ll arrive to get a warm welcome from the locals. Skiing lessons can be taken, while the Caledonian Alps are definitely worth exploring. Remember Greenland has much more to it then ice, and a trip to Greenland may just be the most quieter, unique and fantastic experiences you’ll ever have.
