London is the capital city of England and has a lot to offer to people looking for a weekend break away. There really is something for everyone in this city from amazing nightlife, a wealth of history to explore, exquisite restaurants and is a shoppers paradise.
It is relatively easy to get to London from most places in the UK, although traffic can be horrendous so many tend to commute there by train. With public transport facilities second to none you won’t be waiting for a tube or bus for more than about 5 mins and if that’s even too long then there are endless black cabs waiting to whisk you off to your next attraction. London is great for romantic breaks away, shopping with the girls or taking family around the museums and to ride the London eye.
As with most cities, London is not cheap but if there are many things to do that do not cost money and therefore you could easily fill a weekend without having to dig too deep.
