When holidaying in the UK it can be great to be able to take your pets along with you, particularly if your pet is a dog.
There are loads of places that are perfect for long picturesque walks and breath-taking scenery that you can enjoy with your K9 pal. A trip to the lake district is great for a dog friendly holiday however if you are near one of the tourist areas you will need to keep your dog on a lead as there are normally ducks, swans and geese on the water’s edge that can get aggressive if startled.
Wales is another great destination in the UK to take dogs as there are plenty of dog friendly beaches around where you can let the dog off and even dog friendly pubs where you can relax in the evening with a glass of wine.
Finding accommodation when you have a dog with you can be tricky but there are websites set up that specifically offer pet friendly accommodation within your selected area. Be aware that you will usually be expected to pay a refundable damage deposit on booking just to cover any cost of any damage your pet could cause during your stay.
