If travel isn’t essential then are you able to still go?

Many people have been confused over the past few months about the different rules regarding what we are and are not supposed to do. At present England is back into a national lockdown which means the advice is stay at home and only leave your home when you really need to. Although this is the advice, if you leave your home to go for a walk or to pop to your supermarket, you are not going to get in to trouble but when it comes to travelling further afield what can and can’t you do? During lockdown you are not supposed to travel for non essential reasons, so this would include going on a holiday but there are exceptions in travel, where it is required for business or for medical reasons. After the lockdown period has ended, England will be once again split into tiers. Each tier will have different rules but in all of them it is advised that you limit the amount of travelling you do.

If you are looking to go on holiday then it is likely that it would need to be the middle to latter part of next year now as it looks as though restrictions are probably hear to stay until at least easter time if not beyond.
